The webinar gives an update on recent and forthcoming changes to payroll, rewards and employment taxes in 2024\/25. The subjects covered include:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>tax changes announced at the Spring Budget 2024;\u00a0 <\/li>\n<li>employment and pension law changes relevant to payroll and reward; and\u00a0 <\/li>\n<li>the mandatory payrolling of benefits-in-kind from April 2026.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The webinar was presented by Ian Holloway and Peter Bickley, Technical Manager, Employment Taxes and NICs, ICAEW.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the webinar, the Tax Faculty published TAXguide 3\/24. Compiled by Ian Holloway as part of the webinar\u2019s resources, it is a useful guide to PAYE rates, thresholds and allowances for employers in 2024\/25. It covers:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>income tax;\u00a0 <\/li>\n<li>national insurance contributions (NIC); <\/li>\n<li>reliefs;<\/li>\n<li>levies;<\/li>\n<li>statutory payments;<\/li>\n<li>pensions;<\/li>\n<li>student loans; <\/li>\n<li>national minimum wage rates; and <\/li>\n<li>car, van and fuel benefits-in-kind.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The equivalent guidance for 2023\/24 is available as TAXguide 1\/23. <\/p>\n<p>Viewing the webinar could contribute up to one hour of verifiable continuing professional development (CPD) for an ICAEW member where it is relevant to their role.
